Bunnies

In 1984 Mervyn's sold these bunnies. Michael's mom bought one in Colorado, and Jenn's grandmother bought one in Los Angeles. They both became beloved favorites of ours as kids and 30-something years later when Michael and Jenn met they discovered they BOTH had one of them. Jenn's survived the washing machine several times, where Michael's was kept more pristine as being a boy he favored a bear from the same line. 

They knew it was pretty special that these idential toys were still part of their toy collections and that one day they would be in their child's bedroom. Today they sit on Leland's shelf now, and we can't wait to tell him the story of why, and how, he has two.
