Babymoon

Once we heard of the concept of a Babymoon, we knew it was another excuse for us to travel. This spring we took a Babymoon vacation. We had a lot of fun exploring Bakersfield where we dipped our toes in the Kern river, shopped, went to church on Easter Sunday, saw Fleetwood Mac and Cirque Du Soleil's Varekai show, ate lots of yummy food featured on the TV show 'Diners Drive-ins and Dives' and enjoyed eachother's company.

You may ask why Bakersfield? Well it's just two hours from us and we were on the hunt for wildflowers for our maternity photoshoot. Knowing there would be flowers along highway 58 as we drove east and the fact that there were two stellar shows we could see while there helped us make our travel plans.
