Lunar New Year
We went to our favorite asian fusion restaurant to celebrate the Lunar New Year. To the first 100 or so guests they gave out traditional red envelopes filled with presents. This is a tradition and it was fun to celebrate here in SLO. Jenn received an amazing gift in her envelope- a $50 gift card to the restaurant, Michael got a free drink coupon and Leland received a crisp $1 bill and a chocolate coin. Leland enjoyed plaing with chopsticks and the red outfit matching mommy. Red is a symbol of good luck to those who celebrate the holiday, so we made sure to dress as lucky as possible. We got to watch the dragon dancers do the blessing dance and enjoyed a wonderful meal in the sunshine as a family.
